Incredibly sorry that I haven't posted IN OVER A MONTH. Like I've said, I just started my senior year of high school. And I have seven classes, plus club duties, and have to pick out a college... So I've been very busy. But I thought I'd throw you guys something. I have an account in the Zwinky dollmaker site that I use to create visual images of the characters, so I dressed everyone up for Halloween! Of course, Zwinky has limited options, so they all kind of look the same, and they don't have the most creative costumes, but it was fun to do.

Creator's Notes: Here's my first actual story. Well, not the first one I wrote, but the first one I'm posting. I picked it because it has good character stuff for Corr and Lawrence, shows the setting really well, and I won money for writing it. I submitted it as my writing sample to the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Young Writer's Workshop this summer, and won about $250 for it. (Which pretty much repaid us for the cost of workshop tuition.) I've gotten very good feedback on this one.

Creator's Notes: I'm horrible, I know. Weeks without a post. I get really busy with school, and sometimes I just don't have the energy or the inspiration left to write. I really wanted to get this basic outline done, so that you could actually understand what all of these stories are about. I have a lot of stories already written, so expect more posts after this. And please, tell your friends. :)

The Corriander Conspiracies: In a Nutshell

Corr investigates how he got into a nutshell, and suspects a conspiracy between the nut farmers, a sect of genetic experimenting doctors, and FBI.

Okay, but seriously.

Basically, a man with an intensely troubled past becomes an unorthadox private detective and builds his allies into his surrogate family as he takes down the mysterious forces that have twisted his entire life.

I know I haven't posted anything since my first post. My senior year of high school just started, so I've been busy. I do have a lot of stories to share with you, but I figured I'd better do a writeup of the basic plot and characters first, so that you'll actually understand what's going on. I'm working on that. I feel like I ought to post something, so here's the Corriander Conspiracies playlist, songs that inspired me or otherwise remind me of the story. I'll probably come back and edit this at some point, to tell you exactly what each song makes me think of.
